No Henry County 24-Hour Feed
The Henry County Sheriff’s official sources had no distinct 24-hour release list, recent-releases tab, released-person archive, or release-date field when reviewed. That finding covers the current Sheriff site, its app configuration, the OCV inmate feed, and the former and current roster routes. There is no official page that can be filtered to show everyone who left Henry County Jail today.
The official Henry County inmate search serves a narrower purpose. It shows people who are displayed as held now. Its date-descending order is based on booking time, and current entries can have much older booking dates. Sorting that roster by date does not turn it into a list of releases. The Sheriff also publishes no promised update cycle or online retention period.
Check Henry County 24-Hour Releases
A same-day inquiry works best when Sheriff Records receives a defined time span and a request for existing records. Henry County Jail and Records share the main line at 660-885-7300. The Sheriff FAQ says some reports require a formal request and some material can be restricted because of the incident. No dedicated release form, request email, local fee chart, or local production schedule was found.
- Write down the exact start and end date, time, and time zone for the 24-hour interval.
- Call Records and ask where to send a written Missouri Sunshine request.
- Request the existing release ledger, jail activity-log entries, or booking/release records for that interval.
- Ask for release date and time, release authority or type, and the receiving agency for each transfer.
- Request an itemized estimate before work exceeds an amount you choose.
- Use Case.net, MOVANS, or the receiving agency only after the county record points to that channel.
A useful request is: “Please provide the existing release ledger or booking/release entries for people who left Henry County Jail custody between [time/date] and [time/date], including release date/time, release type or authority, and receiving agency for transfers.” This asks for records the jail may already keep. It does not ask staff to create a new report or disclose unrelated protected facts.
Note: Missouri’s three-business-day rule governs agency action on a request, not a guarantee that all responsive records will be produced by then.
Henry County Release Record Fields
A real 24-hour release list would need fields that establish the departure event and its meaning. Henry County’s public roster does not show them. The Sheriff’s booking sheet, inmate/detainee file, transfer record, and jail activity log are the better targets because Missouri’s retention schedule describes those records as carrying admission, release, property, and transfer information.

The underlying records can last much longer than the web display. Missouri’s schedule sets minimum periods of five years for booking sheets and five years after release for inmate/detainee files. That does not promise how long a name or image stays online. It does show why a records request can remain useful after the current roster changes.
Note: A record-retention minimum supports a later request, but it does not set the Henry County roster’s online display period.
Henry County Release Request Costs
Henry County does not post a special price for a same-day release ledger. Missouri’s general fee rules supply the starting point. Under the version of Section 610.026 effective August 28, 2025, ordinary paper copies no larger than 9 by 14 inches generally may cost no more than ten cents per page. Duplication time is capped at the average clerical rate, while actual research time can be charged. Electronic or picture-media work can include appropriate copy, media, staff, or programming costs.
Ask Records to use the least costly available staff and to provide an estimate before beginning work above a stated limit. A focused 24-hour interval, a named record type, and a short field list can reduce avoidable search time. If the response will be delayed, Section 610.023 calls for the custodian to explain the reasonable cause and give the earliest availability date.
Not every responsive item must be open in full. Arrest reports can close in defined circumstances when no charge follows, and juvenile, sealed, expunged, investigative, medical, victim, or safety information may be withheld or redacted. A written denial should identify the legal ground. These limits do not justify guessing at the release event. They explain why the public result may contain fewer fields than the jail’s internal file.
Henry County Roster Release Limits
Henry County’s OCV/RTJB roster is a searchable, date-descending active-custody feed. It displays full name, inmate ID, age, race, sex, booking date and time, arresting agency, charges, bond-related amounts on some entries, an occasional court date, and booking images. It has no release date, release reason, destination, custody-status label, released tab, or 24-hour selector.
The official OCV inmate feed shows the active source that was reviewed as a contrast to a release ledger.
The captured feed is evidence of present roster access, not proof of who left during a day. A current match supports custody in Henry County Jail at the time checked. A missing match leaves the outcome unresolved.
The feed also includes a local wrinkle: some people may be housed for Boone or St. Clair counties. Henry County can control the physical custody record while another county controls the case or warrant. If a person returns to that county, the local roster entry may disappear even though the person did not enter the community.
Henry County Sheriff App Photos
The “Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office, MO” app is an official local channel released in 2025. Its shared configuration includes Inmate Search and booking images. The app listing also describes tips, sex-offender information, staff access, and public-safety news, but it does not claim a recent-release function.
The official Sheriff app listing shows what the agency says the mobile channel provides.
The app can make current roster information easier to reach, but it is not a hidden Henry County 24-hour release archive. The same rule applies to its images: they are tied to current roster records, not a complete set of today’s departures.
Bond and Henry County Release
The Henry County Jail FAQ describes the local bondsman process: a bondsman posts bail after receiving a nonrefundable fee and may require collateral. That transaction does not prove the jail has completed exit processing. Bond also does not dismiss the underlying criminal case.
If Case.net shows bond activity and the current roster no longer returns the person, the two sources are consistent with a bond-related departure. They still do not supply the jail-door time or rule out another hold. Sheriff Records remains the source for the physical release event, while the court docket explains the legal case event.
Note: A set or posted bond may precede departure when processing remains unfinished or another lawful hold applies.
Henry County Release News Context
Local station myKDKD documented the Sheriff’s 2025 roster transition and later reported detention activity. It is useful for understanding why an old roster address stopped working and when the agency changed platforms. It is not an authoritative or complete daily ledger of Henry County releases.
The roster transition report explains that the former detention-center domain was retired and an interim Public Safety Cloud route was used.
The current Sheriff site and current OCV feed now control. Old domains, mirrors, or cached third-party pages should not be used to infer that an official 24-hour list still exists.
Note: Local reporting can explain a platform change, but only the originating office can confirm an individual release or transfer.
Henry County Release Destinations
Leaving Henry County Jail is only one custody event. A person may return to the community after bond, a court order, or the end of a county sentence. The jail may instead transfer the person to MODOC, another county, a federal custodian, or ICE when supported by the record. A receiving-agency field prevents those outcomes from being collapsed into the word “released.”
For a MODOC transfer, the active state Offender Search covers incarceration and active probation, parole, or conditional release, but it expressly excludes discharged offenders. MOVANS can report a participating custodian’s status change, yet an alert can also reflect a transfer. Case.net can explain bond, dismissal, sentence, or probation, but it cannot establish the exact physical exit time.
